The Orange Revolution in Ukraine

In November of 2004, an estimated 500,000 Ukrainian protesters camped out in the dead of winter in the central square of the capital city of Kiev to protest political corruption and an illegally won election. 

The corrupt election was overturned and the entire country celebrated one of the most peaceful political revolutions in history.

1 year later, political corruption ruled again.

The revolution was declared a failure.

Ukraine needed a new kind of revolution
